RACING CHAMPIONS 1996 NHRA DOUG HERBERT TOP FUEL DRAGSTER DIE CAST 1:64 SCALE. Brand new on card. Unopened. Excellent condition. Card has some light wear as seen. Car is new. Die cast metal with some plastic parts. Tires roll. Snap-On sponsor. Over 25 years old. Car is approximately 6 inches long. Looks like a trading card is included. Top Fuel facts: The car is 25 feet long with a wing at the front and back. Cost: 0,000. They can reach over 100 MPH in less than 1 second reaching 300mph plus in just a few seconds. Using up to 20 gallons of raw fuel for staging, burnout and a 1/4-mile run. The entire engine is torn down to the block after each race and many parts have to be replaced. The driver takes on a force of about 5G's which is almost twice what an astronaut feels when launching in the Space Shuttle. The supercharged Hemi engine is limited to a build of no more than 500 cubic inches but puts out between 7000 and 10,000 HP without a transmission or radiator. Top fuel is not like ordinary gas; It contains 90% Nitromethane and 10% Methanol. A 50-gallon drum costs about 00. Car is mandatory equipped with a parachute.
